One of the battle flags used during the American revolution, Gostelowe No. 10 connects religion and the American revolution. The flag depicts stars in the top left corner, depicting the 13 colonies, and a hand holding a knife, emerging from a cloud. The writing under this depiction reads: "Resistance to Tyrants is Obedience to God."
